Sunday night here in Atlanta brought us torrential down pours. I was stupid enough to go out in that rain. This happened on my way home at about 8 PM. I'm sad... I really love my car. Fortunately, I'm OK. A few bumps, scratches, and some bruises... The side airbags never did deploy. I have to say though, the car took the hit pretty well... I got hit while making a left hand turn, full speed, dead on in the passenger door. It knocked the wind out of me, the hit was so hard. No one was hurt, thankfully. Metal is replaceable...

Hope you're alright. Be careful out there! Remember that no matter how well you drive, all it takes is one person who can't drive to cause a disaster! Glad that it appears you were unhurt. Hope your insurance company doesn't use this as an excuse to raise your rates. Post-Katrina, I really REALLY dislike insurance companies (my family got their just due, but so many others didn't). Stay up! And to the person asking if the car was a BMW, shame on you for not expressing concern for someone's physical welfare before you ask what type of car they were driving!

I'm still doing fine! Thanks for asking. Yep, it was a BMW. Does that matter? I wish it was a tank, it would have taken the hit better.
